Not only coastal Rhodes is worthy of visit. An inland journey uncovers beautiful traditional villages, untouched by the cosmopolitan spirit of tourist resorts. If we start out from Agios Syllas monastery, lost among the pine and beech, we can reach Profitis Ilias (altitude 720 m) with its monastery and panoramic view of the sea.
